Required Documents for Loan Requests

When you're applying for a loan with CEFCU, we're with you every step of the way. Rest assured, our knowledgeable loan specialists work hard to make the loan process streamline and time-effective. We ask our members to provide the following items requested in a timely manner to avoid any delays in the loan process. Remember, when we work together we Share the Success!

Personal Loan/Line of Credit

• Loan Request
• Current pay stub(s) dated within 30 days or Federal Tax Return for last two years if self-employed
• If paying off outside debt, include copies of most recent statements
• Purpose of loan

Auto Loans (all types)

• Loan Request
• Current pay stub(s) dated within 30 days or Federal Tax Return for last two years if self-employed
• Copy of valid Driver's License
• Copy of current Auto Insurance card

Dealer Purchase

• All items listed under "Auto Loans (all types)"
• New Auto - Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (window sticker)
• Used Auto - Blue Book value (Loan Officer can obtain this information)
• Copy of signed Contract/Purchase Order

Refinance or Private Party Purchase

• All items listed under "Auto Loans (all types)"
• Blue Book value (Loan Officer can obtain this information)
• Copy of current registration
• Copy of current Auto Loan Statement (or vehicle title if free & clear)
• Vehicle Inspection required (Loan Officer will do the inspection)

Special notes for Private Party Purchases:
*Seller will be required to come to the branch to complete DMV documents
*Sales Tax and Transfer Fee will be collected
*Smog Check may be required

Home Equity Line of Credit (Variable) or Second Trust Deed (Fixed)

• Completed loan application
• Current pay stub(s) dated within 30 days or Federal Tax Return for last two years if self-employed
• If listing Rental Income, please provide copies of rental agreement(s), property tax bill(s) and insurance policy
• Copy of valid Driver's License

If you are applying with a joint applicant, please bring copies of the joint applicant's documentation and any additional income that is listed on the application, written verification will be required.
