CEFCU Has a Clear Strategic Path

The leadership of CEFCU would like to assure all our member/owners that our guiding principles are clear, concise, and accurate. Some elements of this strategic path, our Purpose and Mission Statements, are familiar to you. In addition, we have adopted a new set of Core Values.

Our Purpose Statement reflects the Credit Union's reason for existence. It sets out for us an object or end result to be attained. It is the direction we are moving. Our Mission Statement says who we have chosen to be in striving to accomplish our Purpose. This clarifies our specific task, as your Credit Union, of what we are charged to do for you. By carrying out this Mission, we hope to fulfill our Purpose in the lives of our member/owners.

Core Values are the beliefs of our Credit Union. They are the principles, standards or qualities regarded as worthwhile and desirable at CEFCU. They also serve as the boundaries of behavior to accomplish our Mission. Our Core Values underpin all policies, objectives, procedures, and strategies because they provide an anchor and a reference point for all things that happen.
